Lifestyle sessions are great for capturing real-life moments in an artistic manner. The purpose of this type of photography is to share people’s stories and emotions through candid, unstaged moments that more or less unfold naturally. I love to using a lifestyle approach when capturing maternity, newborn, and family sessions.
During our session I will likely find the best light and give very simple directions in order to bring out those natural moments but mostly just allowing you to interact naturally as I capture all the magic.
Leading up to your session I will be sure to send you my style guide which will help you in the preparation process and answer all of your questions such as what to wear, what to bring, and how you can make the most of this experience.

Jessica is an absolute gem of a photographer. She is kind, patient, understanding, talented, and wonderful with little ones. Getting your session on the calendar is sometimes the biggest part of the battle! No matter what type of photography your looking for, it all starts with filling out some details about your session. I will then get back to your with some available dates to have your session. It's really that simple!
1. Get Scheduled

The most important thing to remember when you arrive at your session... Is to take a deep breath and relax! You look fabulous and you've done all the hard work to get here. Now it's my turn to take the wheel. Don't stress about how your going to pose, or whether your looking silly or not, it's my job to worry about all those details and I promise to make it as fun as possible for everyone!

Since waiting is the hardest part, I will be sure to send you a sneak peek from our session together within 24 hours. This sneak peek will appear on my blog and give a good look into what your full gallery will look like. This link will be perfect for you to share with your friends and family on social media right away so they can be a part of the excitement also!
4. Sneak Peek

Full session galleries typically take me up to 3-5 weeks to deliver. If you follow me on Instagram I typically give an updated list of my editing queue so you can stay in the loop. I try to get your photos ready as fast as possible, and I want to make sure I deliver my best work every time! All of my galleries are delivered through an online platform called Pic-Time. I will send you a link to your gallery via email and you will be able to download and print all of your images right from your online gallery!

Absolutely! I am always game to get creative when it comes to locations. For a lifestyle session I am willing to travel up to 1.5 hours outside of Red Deer. My travel fees are $0.65/km.

Of course you can bring your fur babies! As a dog lover myself, I LOVE to capture all the happy smiles these babes bring to a home. I recommend bringing a friend who can take your pup for a walk once their photoshoot is done so that you can have the freedom to capture some moments with and without them
