A Summer Wedding at The Olive Grove
Jillian and Michaels wedding day at The Olive Grove was one for the books! It was a beautiful day all around! From the florals and decor, to all the beautiful people that I got to meet. OH! And Jillian’s dress that was a showstopper to say the least! It was truly a magical day that I will never be able to forget.
When I showed up at The Olive Grove wedding venue, the forecast was calling for rain ALL DAY! Being the optimist that I am though, I had very high hopes that we were going to catch a break. I started off by taking a walk around The Olive Grove’s stunning property and soaking up all the views it has to offer. I was immediately excited for the day ahead.
As I walked into the bridal suite I was instantly greeted by excited bridesmaids who I could tell were my kind of people! We had so much fun as Jillian got ready for her ceremony. Despite some last minute changes due to weather, Jillian could not have been more calm and put together. As we stepped outside for bridal party portrait time and were all geared up with umbrellas, the rain immediately stopped!! It was a thing of miracles only true optimists experience. 🙂
I was so happy that we were able to ditch the umbrellas and pop some champaign without getting soaked which was great! Jillian and Michael were pros as usually during their portrait time. Between my second shooter Dale, and Becca the amazing videographer with Cavell Films, we had an wonderful time capturing all the love between this beautiful couple.
As toasts were beginning it was so great to hear all the beautiful, kind words from their family and close friends. If you scroll through this blog post and think to yourself, “Wow, this couple seems to be very loved and cherished”…. you would be right! We had such an amazing day and I was so grateful to be a part of this wonderful couples wedding day. It is an honour to be able to capture these special moments and I just know I have made friends for life!
I hope you enjoy these photos from their wedding day as I know I surely did!
