Sameh & Tayler

I could not be more excited to share this sweet couples Sylvan Lake Sunset Engagement Session! Not only did we have an absolute BLAST together. But the glowy sunset over Sylvan Lake was pure magic!

I know Sameh well! She was Grayson’s grade 1 teacher last year so we got to know each other during the school year. But it wasn’t until I gave her a gift certificate for photos at the end of the year that she realized I was a photographer.

This fall, Tayler proposed to Sameh. She IMMEDIATELY messaged me to find out if I would photograph her wedding! I was so honoured to be the first vendor she was certain she wanted to be a part of her wedding day.

Since Sameh and Tayler didn’t quite have a date set for their wedding day when they initially reached out. We decided to get a date set for their engagement photos first since the fall season was on it’s way out the door.

We decided to meet in Sylvan Lake for a nice sunset engagement session. The fall leaves were SO bright and colourful! As soon as that sunset hit the horizon we all got so excited as that’s when things got really good!

Sameh and Tayler are a blast to photograph! From all the funny jokes and blue steel looks Tayler was working, we certainly got our ab workouts with all the laughs through the night.
