Abby & Greg

These two sweethearts could not have ordered more perfect weather for their snowy winter engagement session! Although it was a tad on the chilly side, with plenty of hand and feet warmers the beautiful light snow falling around them made their engagement session absolutely perfect!

Abby and Greg reached out me back in November last year and we instantly hit it off. With them both being Friends fans I knew it would be a match made in heaven. During our initial phone consultation Abby shared with me their love story and I was completely blown away!

Their Love Story

They met when they both joined a slo-pitch team, The Filthy Grizzlies. I have been informed that they were not in charge of the team naming situation! Ha! Abby and Greg shared a mutual friend who didn’t quite realize the connection he was about be responsible for when he had invited them both to join the team! By the end of the season, they were inseparable!

Fast forward to their engagement, Greg held nothing back! I’m talking an around the world flight to Scotland to propose on the Vennel steps in Edinburgh. With a stunning view of the castle in the background Greg asked Abby to marry him in the most perfect way possible!

Hearing their love story had me feeling so grateful that they picked me to capture this special time!

Their Snowy Winter Engagement

Fast forward to their engagement session… We decided to meet at Michener Park, one of my all time favourite locations for an engagement session. Especially in winter, as there are so many options for trees and scenery that stand out in any season.

The moment we started to taking pictures was the moment the laughter began! I am pretty sure I have never laughed so hard that tears came during an engagement session. But Abby and Greg have the most joyful and hilarious personalities. We were instantly connected and having a blast! They are such naturals in front of the camera and I honestly can’t wait to be able to meet the rest of their friends and family on their wedding day this fall!
