Lacey & Dylan

We could not have asked for more perfect weather when it came to Lacey and Dylan’s country farm family engagement session! The sun was really showing off for us and the temperature was radiant! Getting to spend my Friday evening with this sweet little family was so perfect!

When Lacey reached out about her wedding day I was immediately excited! Not only did we click right away with having a very similar personality. But as she described her wedding day plans out west near Caroline, Alberta at her families farm cabin, I was SO excited! I couldn’t wait to see it!

Country Farm Engagement Session

We decided to do their engagement session at her family farm as well so that we could get ideas for where the best spot would be to set up their ceremony on their wedding day. What an incredible gift it was to me to be able to have an idea for how their wedding will look before I even show up in August!

Lacey asked me if it was okay to do a family style engagement session which of course was such a bonus for me! I got to meet their sweet little girl Kyla who, if you couldn’t tell, absolutely LOVED having her photo taken! What a treasure she is and a joy to capture!

Being able to walk around this beautiful country farm with wedding portrait locations in the back of my mind was so much fun! Getting to know this sweet little family was an absolute gift! I can’t wait to be able to share their entire wedding day come August as well! 🙂
